The waterfalls in Iguassu offer many different ways to be explored; either hiking through the Atlantic rainforest or in the river for a thrilling ride you won't forget. Depending on the amount of water in the river the number of waterfalls varies between 150 to 275 and the height of the falls between 40-90 meters. The best view of the falls is on the Brazilian side due to the number of falls visable. The main fall is called the Devils Throat and is formed at the strong part of the current where the river turns.
