Listed as an historic heritage by the state of Parana, Ilha do Mel (translating to “Honey Island”) is located in the Paranaguá Bay that has the most amount of preserved Atlantic rainforest in Brazil. It is a place surrounded by nature and tranquility and the only means of access to the island is by boat. Ilha do Mel offers perfect conditions for surfing and other recreations such as visiting the lighthouse “Farol das Conchas”, the Fortaleza fortress and the cave at Encantadas beach.
